My name is Alex. I’m a dad, musician, and hobby cook from Berlin.

For many years, I worked in the creative and event industry including founding the Sample Music Festival. When my daughter Mila was born, I started looking for playful ways to bring food, creativity, and learning together.

Mila loves drawing, and we both enjoy funny comics. That’s how the idea for FOODMONSTAS began: friendly food characters that help children discover vegetables, fruit, and other foods in a fun and humorous way.

What started with simple recipe ideas slowly grew into original characters, short stories, and different themed editions. With today’s creative tools for images and videos, the FOODMONSTAS universe began to take shape.

FOODMONSTAS is about making food more fun, encouraging children to try new ingredients, spending creative time together, and creating funny recipes inspired by the characters.
